
General Manager Emmanuel Nfor is a native of Cameroon, Africa. Emmanuel grew up playing soccer in his hometown of Limbe and soccer has been a part of his life ever since. He moved to the US at age 12 with his parents and siblings to pursue a better life and education. He played through all the youth ranks and collegiately at NAIA at Campbellsville University before moving home his sophomore season due to his fathers passing due to cancer.
Emmanuel would turn his love of the game into coaching in 2012 with the very team his father coached at Frankfort Fury Soccer Club in Frankfort KY. He would then go on to coach middle and high school soccer in frankfort before moving to Louisville, KY.
Once in Louisville he joined his current club United 1996 Futbol Club. It is with United that he has coached players and teams of all ages from 5-18 boys and girls and is currently coaching various age groups and has lots of success developing elite technical players and teams that have gone on to represent the club at the state, regional, national, and professional levels.
Emmanuel has coached for some of the top programs in the state and now also coaches the Ballard Girls Soccer Program. Emmanuel has a wealth of experience coaching teams for over a decade now and players of various ages and abilities. He has coached hundreds of players in 1on1s, small groups, and teams environments. Players have improved greatly under his tutelage and gained confidence and belief to go on to play soccer at higher levels but most importantly have all enjoyed it, had fun and learned important life lessons and skills along the way.
Emmanuel currently holds “USSF B” Coaching License.
